CHRISTOPHER DEBLASIO

DeBlasio moved from Central Florida where he was employed as the Media Relations Coordinator for the SBC FUTURES Golf Tour, the official developmental tour of the LPGA. In that capacity, DeBlasio traveled to each of the Tour's 20-tournaments nation wide. Individual tasks included writing round summaries and creating six-page post tournament press releases for distribution to national and international media.

DeBlasio began his career in the golf industry while attending the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pa. As an undergraduate he worked summers as the Tournament Director's assistant for the Northville Long Island Classic (presently the Light Path Long Island Classic, Senior PGA Tour event). After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications (1997), he worked as an advertising sales representative for Long Island Golfer Magazine. In addition to developing his knowledge and understanding of the golf industry, DeBlasio added valuable layout and design skills to his resume.

DeBlasio joined BZA in June 2000.
